New Delhi: Indian Air Force jets had bombed the Jaish-Mohammed (JeM) terrorist facility in February and now the prohibited group has revived the complex, where it is training 40 jihadists to carry out attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.
This new progress has come with the blessings of Pakistan following the abrogation of Article 370 of the constitution.
In retaliation to the suicide car bombing on February 14 in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama that killed 40 troopers of the Central Reserve Police Force, on the 27th of February IAF fighters flew deep down to Pakistan and bombed the Markaz Syed Ahmad Shaheed facility at Balakot in Manshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
According to intelligence reports, around 100 Jaish cadre are waiting at launch pads across the Poonch and Rajouri sectors at Neelum/Leepa Valley targeting Jammu.
The Intelligence department has also indicated that JeM might target Gujarat and Maharashtra under a new name to avoid international security.
On the other hand, reports suggest that another terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), has reactivated its terror camps.
The third group, Hizbul Mujahideen, has also been activated after its leaders met ISI handlers on August 26 and tasked with infiltrating its cadre across the Gurez sector.
