China blocks Indian websites, newspapers amid border row

Beijing: The Indian newspapers and websites are not accessible in China amid the ongoing border tension between India and China.

The Indian nationals living in China are now able to access the Indian media websites with Virtual Private Network (VPN) server. The Indian TV channels also can be accessed through IP TV as of now.

Even the ExpressVPN has not been accessible for the past two days on the iPhone as well as desktops in the Communist state.

However, China has developed such a technologically advanced firewall that it blocks even the VPNs. According to reports, even before Indian government banned Chinese apps, China had banned Indian media sites.

China has one of the strongest online censorship in the world. It is known to heavily regulate and censor domestic internet usage and actively block any websites or links that are seen as going against the narrative of the communist party.
