Mumbai: Two days after Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma and Indian Cricket team Captain Virat Kohli welcomed their first child, the couple has sent gift hampers along with a letter written in English and Hindi to Mumbai’s paparazzi groups requesting to respect their newborn’s privacy.
In a statement the couple said, “As parents, we have a simple request to make to you. We want to protect the privacy of our child and we need your help and support. While we will always ensure that you will get all the content featuring us, we would request you to kindly not take or carry any content that has our child. We know that you will understand where we are coming from from and we thank you for the same”.
Virat and Anushka welcomed their baby girl on 11 January and had informed that they will not be sharing any pictures of the baby in social medias and that they want to raise the child away from public eyes.
Earlier Anushka had warned some paparazzi pages for clicking unauthorised pictures of the actor and husband Cricketer Virat Kohli.
