New Delhi: During the lockdown period, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry on Friday announced to re telecast the famous Ramanand Sagar’s “Ramayan” serial on public demand.
Along with it the epic serial “Mahabharat” will also relay today at 12 noon and 7 pm everyday on DD Bharati.
B.R Chopra’s Mahabharata had some of the popular faces of the television industry like Nitish Bhardwaj, Puneet Issar, Roopa Ganguly, Pankaj Dheer, Mukesh Khanna, Gajendra Chauhan amongst others.
Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar has today compulsorily asked all cable operators to show DD channels.
“It is mandatory for all cable operators to show DD channels. In your area if it is not being shown, then raise a complaint with your cable operator,” tweeted Prakash Javadekar.

Ramayan will be aired today on DD National, one episode in the morning 9 am to 10 am and another in the evening 9 pm to 10 pm.
