New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that the government has set a target of building 12,500 Ayush Centres across the country, 10 of which were inaugurated today in Haryana.
“Out of the target of 12,500 AYUSH Centres, 10 were inaugurated today in Haryana,” Modi said while addressing a programme at the AYUSH Ministry.
Modi added that AYUSH and Yoga are strong pillars of FIT India movement launched recently in the country.
He also stressed for the need to create a homogenous system by creating an “Ayush grid” on the lines of one nation, one tax and one nation, one mobility card.
The government is also working towards bringing in more professionals in the field of Ayush and necessary steps are being taken into effect.
