New Delhi: The number of cases of coronavirus in the country continues to rise and the total count has crossed 45 lakh mark.
The country witnessed highest single-day jump of 96,551 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the tally to 45,62,415.
With an addition of 1,209 deaths due to the disease, the death toll now stands at 76,271.
There are 9,43,480 active cases and 35,42,664 have been cured and discharged, according to the Ministry of Health.
