Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday announced that Kerala recorded 67 new cases of coronavirus. Meanwhile 10 people have tested negative for the infection.
Of the total cases, Palakkad recorded highest with 29 cases, 8 are from Kannur, 6 from Kottayam, 5 each from Kannur and Ernakulam, 4 each from Thrissur and Kollam, 3 each from Kasaragod and Alappuzha.
27 people arrived from abroad. 15 people came from Maharashtra, 9 from Tamil Nadu, 5 from Gujarat, 2 from Karnataka and one each from Pondicherry and Delhi.
Seven people contracted disease through contact.
There were 68 hotspots in the state and today 9 new hotspots have been included.
808 people are quarantined in the hospitals.
