Bhubaneswar: After Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced a nationwide lockdown for 21 days in a bid to contain the spread of coronavirus disease, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has come forth to back the appeal.
Taking to Twitter, Patnaik asked the citizens to be together as a nation at this hour of crisis and support the appeal of PM Modi.
“It is an extremely challenging race against time to stop #COVID19. As the pandemic is spreading across the world, it is time to be together as a nation at this hour of crisis and support the appeal of PM @narendramodiji. #CoronavirusLockdown” he tweeted.

The country is observing a 21-day lockdown as the number of coronavirus cases is increasing. So far two persons have been tested positive in Odisha.
