New Delhi: A shocking fact emerged on Tuesday that a reporter from the Media One news channel of Kerala narrowly escaped from the Delhi riots by revealing his religious identity. He told the rioters that he is a reporter from Kerala and a Muslim.
The incident occurred when the media personnel were on their way to report the riots in Delhi. A video proclaiming the same was released by Media One.
It is to be noted that Media One is a channel owned by Jamaat-e-Islami.
So far 13 persons have died and around 190 injured in the riots that broke out in North-East Delhi since Monday.
