Thiruvananthapuram: Shone George, son of PC George, exposed the balance sheet of Chief Minister (CM) Pinarayi Vijayan’s daughter Veena Vijayan’s company Exalogic Solutions to refute CM’s claim that the company was started with his wife’s pension.
Shone George, the complainant in the monthly payment controversy case, has alleged that CM has misled the Legislative Assembly regarding the case. He stated that CM’s argument that his daughter Veena Vijayan started a software company called Exalogic Solutions with his wife’s pension is wrong. Shone supports his claim by revealing the balance sheet of Veena’s company.
Shone George stated that, in the balance sheet, Veena’s investment of Rs 1 lakh and loan of Rs 78 lakh are shown as money used to start the company. He claims that the company’s capital is actually the loan of Rs 78 lakhs taken from Veena, the company’s director. Shone said that the Chief Minister misled the Assembly and that the Assembly Committee should investigate the matter.
Shone George made these revelations against the Chief Minister and his daughter Veena Vijayan through Facebook.
Shone’s Facebook post:
“The Chief Minister misled the Assembly. The Chief Minister had said in the Kerala Assembly that his daughter’s company was started with his wife Kamala Vijayan’s pension money. Contrary to this claim, the balance sheet provided by Veena Vijayan’s Exalogic company proves this to be false. A supporting document details the actual amount of money utilized for starting the company. The Assembly Committee should investigate this.”
The other day Kerala High Court had rejected the stay plea of Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC).The state run public sector undertaking KSIDC having connections with Veena Vijayan’s company Exalogic and CMRL, had approached the court requesting an immediate stay of the investigations of the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) into it.
The investigation by the SFIO is in the public interest and based on a preliminary investigation into Shone George’s complaint which found serious violations in the Exalogic-CMRL deal.
