Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has issued a new guideline for those people coming to the state for a short period for official purposes.
The new guideline states that people who come for business, official, trade, medical, court cases, property management or any such purposes can visit the State for a period up to 7 days without mandatory quarantine, after obtaining entry passes through covid19jagratha portal.
Students who arrive in Kerala for attending exams or academic related purposes can stay for a period of three days before the start of exam and 3 days after the exam, it read.
Passes will be issued by concerned strict Collectors.They should directly go to their accommodation upon arrival. It is advised that they should not be in contact with anyone over 60 or under 10 years of age. Strict action will be taken against those staying in the state after seven days without returning.
