New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday took to Twitter and thanked Bollywood actor Aamir Khan after the latter appreciated the initiative of Modi to curb ‘single-use plastic’.
Aamir Khan backed Modi’s mission and tweeted on Twitter where he urged the citizens to strongly support the PM’s initiative. ” The initiative by the Hon’ble PM @narendramodi to curb ‘single use plastic’ is an effort all of us should strongly support. It’s up to each of us to make sure we stop using ‘single use plastic”, he tweeted.

During his monthly radio address to the nation, “Mann Ki Baat”, PM Modi had highlighted on the ‘new mass movement’ against single-use plastic from October 2, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and urged the people to join the movement.
