Kochi: The Central Government took valiant action against communist terrorist by Operation Deepavali, where at least 14 terrorists killed including Kerala’s Attappady. The operations were conducted in the states of Kerala, Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Telangana.
The clashes between security forces and Maoists took place in the country on October 26, 27, 28 and 29. Fourteen people, including 4 from Attappady, were killed in the clash. At the same time, the central and state governments are yet to officially confirm the same.
Infiltration has also decreased at a rapid rate as security has been tightened on the Kashmir and Bangladesh borders. However, foreign terrorist groups have paid for local terrorist groups, to conduct blasts and create other tensions in the country.
After receiving intelligence reports, the security forces hunted for the terrorists in the name of Operation Deepavali. When the Central Army took over the mission in other states, Thunderbolt was handed over to Kerala, according to reports.
