UK bans non-essential International travel till May

United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced a ban on non-essential International travel from and to the country till May 17,2021. The ban was announced as the new COVID 19 strain has been spreading.

PM Boris Johnson said that Domestic overnight stays and self-contained accommodation will be allowed no earlier than April 12.

The Government’s Global Travel Taskforce will give a report by April 12, recommending how International travel can resume safely. This will give people time to make plans for the summer.
