New Delhi: The World Health Organisation (WHO) notified that an error has happened in the “situation report” on the coronavirus spread in countries, where it said that India is at the stage of community transmission.
The error has been fixed, reported NDTV.
The organisation told NDTV that India has a cluster of cases and not community transmission. The organisation had first reported that China has a cluster of cases while India showed “community transmission.”
The Indian government was firm when it denied all such reports that claimed India is in Stage 3, where it becomes difficult to trace the source and situation goes out of control.
“If it happens, we will be the first to tell you. We will tell people to be especially alert…There is no community transmission,” said Lav Aggarwal, joint secretary, Health Ministry.
