Thrissur: The Human Rights Commission has registered a case in connection with the discovery of the bodies of two missing children from Sasthampoovam tribal colony. The Commission has also directed the Thrissur Rural District Police Chief to investigate the incident and submit a report within 15 days.

The children from Vellikulangara, Sasthampoovam tribal colony went missing on March 2. A week later, the family lodged a complaint with the police. The bodies of Saji Kuttan (15) and Arun Kumar (8) were found during the subsequent search. The action is based on a complaint alleging that there is a mystery in the deaths.
