Alappuzha: Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, said that in Kerala the Congress and the communists are helping the banned terrorist organization Popular Front of India (PFI). He said that the Congress is seeking the support of SDPI, which is the political wing of PFI. The communists are also vying for that support.
Amit Shah added that under Modi’s rule such terrorist organizations will not be tolerated in the country. He was speaking at an election campaign program for NDA candidate Shoba Surendran in Alappuzha.
It must be noted that the SDPI had openly announced their support for the Congress party in the Lok Sabha elections.
Shah said that communism is dead. The Congress party has lost its glory. The coming future is of the BJP and requested the people to vote remembering the cultural and traditions of the state.
Amit Shah remarked that those in INDI Alliance are deceitful. Congress and communists who are allies in INDI Alliance are fighting in Kerala but are working together in Delhi. Both of them are cheating the people, he said. He also reminded that Modi had removed Article 370, which the Congress was protecting for seventy years.
He also spoke about the developmental programs of Narendra Modi and said that millions have been lifted out of poverty.
While Shoba Surendran is the candidate of NDA for Alappuzha constituency, sitting Member of Parliament AM Ariff is contesting for the LDF and KC Venugopal is the Congress’ candidate.
