Kasaragod: An LDF candidate has received a show cause notice for violating the Model Code of Conduct (MCC). The show cause notice was issued to MV Balakrishnan, the LDF candidate from Kasaragod. The notice was given due to violations including conducting road shows without permission, using loudspeakers, and affixing flags and stickers on commercial vehicles.
The notice was issued by Sufiyan Ahmed, the Sub Collector and Nodal Officer for Model Code of Conduct. The notice warns that if a satisfactory response is not provided within two days, further action will be taken.
