Kochi : High Court had questioned State Government for the poor conditions of the road in the state. The roads are maintained only when a VIP visits, this strategy must change, reminds the Court.
No more scenario of roads turning to be the deathbeds. Contracts for the roads must be given with a vision of long term services. If the roads found damaged in short span of time the contractor should be accused, the Court suggested. The court had demanded for a detailed report from the Government in a week.
Public Interest Litigation submitted by the judges of the High court requesting the involvement of Chief Justice in the matter called for action by the court.
