Abu Dhabi: Kerala Government has committed mistake in Sabarimala issue,said Former Chief Secretary Jiji Thomson. If Government’s target was to build a new Kerala, the steps taken regarding Sabarimala would never be the same. He also added that Government should have worked to place each and everyone together. Jiji Thomson was expressing his views in ‘Punarjani’, a programme conducted by Janam T V in Abu Dhabi to assemble conceptions on rebuilding Kerala.
It is really shameful to beg before other countries when calamities hit the state, especially as India is developing as a strong nation. All states may have natural calamities from time to time. And it is indeed an immature stand to raise fund from foreign countries, Jiji Thomson added.
