Kozhikode: Muslim League leader was arrested on Monday morning for sexually harassing a 16-year-old boy. Thamarassery police have arrested OKM Kunhi, former chairman of Muslim League Katippara Panchayat and member of Muslim League constituency council.
Following the incident, he was absconding.
A case has been registered under POCSO Act. He will be produced before the court after a medical examination.
The inquiry report by the Child Welfare Committee was handed over to the police yesterday.
