New Delhi: The Ministry of Earth Sciences have predicted similar flood like the previous years in Kerala. The Secretary to the Ministry Dr M Rajeevan has asked the state governments to take precautionary measures in view of the prediction.
Taking the statistics into consideration, the chances of flooding is only increasing and in the coming years as well. Rajeevan also said that prior alert would be given before the rainfall.
The quantity of rainfall would be similar to that of last year.The government should take care of evacuating people and opening dams. He added that people should be given alert at right time.
