Thiruvananthapuram: Retired IPS officer Jacob Thomas has raised demand to probe against former chief secretary Tom Jose over allegations of sand removal from Pampa.
Jacob Thomas said that the forest department had not permitted to remove sand from Pampa river, however it was only on the direction of Tom Jose the sands were removed.
The public should know the truth behind the matter, said Jacob Thomas.
The tender to remove the sand was actually given to Kerala Clays and Ceramic Products Limited, however a private company is currently engaged in it.
