New Delhi: India on Tuesday recorded new 14,933 cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours taking the count to 4,40,215.
According to the Union Health Ministry, 312 deaths were also reported in the country in the past 24 hours, taking the death toll to 14,011 deaths.
Maharashtra continues to be the worst affected by the infection with 1,35,796 confirmed cases. There are 61,807 active cases while 67,706 have been cured or discharged. About 6,283 deaths have also reported in the state.
New Delhi has 62,655 confirmed cases and has reported 2,233 deaths so far.
