Kochi: BJP state president K Surendran said that Attache’s gunman was appointed to protect the vested interests of the state government. The smuggling gang got all the help to smuggle gold through gunman.

At a press conference in Kochi, Surendran alleged that the gunman had helped the accused on behalf of high-ranking government officials.

Surendran underlined that the criteria for appointing a gunman was his influence on the cargo at the

Thiruvananthapuram airport, which is controlled by the state government, and his acquaintance with customs and emigration officers. Like the Chief Minister’s IT department, the Home Department also facilitated gold smuggling.

The role of the government will become clearer if those who helped the accused escape are caught.

Pinarayi Vijayan should resign as soon as possible as the Chief Minister’s Office and the two departments he handles helped the accused in the treason case, demanded K Surendran.

He also demanded that the all-India leadership of the CPM be prepared to expel him if he did not resign. KT Jaleel is trying to twist the subject with a communal card.
