Pulwama: The security forces busted two LeT terrorist hideout during search operation at Awantipora in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
On the specific input about the presence of terrorists in the area, a joint cordon and search operation was launched to nab them and during the search, a hideout was busted.
Police sources said that several incriminating materials, many AK rounds and grenades were recovered from the hideout.
The recoveries also include 1918 AK rounds, two hand grenades, UBGL thrower and 4 UBGL grenades, ammonium nitrate, 5 gelatin sticks, crude pipe bomb and code sheets, Rs 5,400, food items, utensils, gas stoves, gas cylinder.
A case under Secyions 18, 20 and 23 of the ULAP, Section 4 of Explosives Substance Act and 7/25 of the Arms Act was registered at Awantipora police station.
