Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation, Supplyco, is all set to tender for school kit products to companies that have supplied substandard products to Onakit.
Supplyco’s e-tender portal states that Arunachalam Impex Private Ltd, (who supplied substandard jaggery) and Hafsar Trading Company (who supplied substandard pappad) has been given approval for school kit products.
The Civil Supplies Corporation is in the process of purchasing chilli powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder from these companies.
Supplyco yesterday approved the technical bid of these companies in an e-tender that invited all three curry powders required for the school kit. These companies will be able to supply the products if approved through the commercial bid.
