Bijapur: A communist terrorist has been shot down by the security forces in an encounter with the District Reserve Guard (DRG) force near Pedappal-Pidiya forest of Bijapur district on Monday morning.
The body of the communist terrorist was recovered from the forest area and weapons were seized from the site.
A team of DRG, Special Task Force (STF), Commando Battalion of Resolute Action (CoBRA) and Central Reserved Police Force of Bijapur and Dantewada districts carried out the operation.
