New Delhi: After switching to Bharatiya Janata Party, Khushbu Sundar told media that someone like Prime Minister Narendra Modi is required for the development of the country. PM Modi is steering the country in the right direction and to its glory, she said.
“When you have 128 crore people actually believing in one man and that is our PM, I think they are doing something absolutely right,” added Khushbu Sundar.
Khushbu also said that she does not expect anything from the party for her, but for the people of the country.
Earlier today, the actor-turned-politician resigned from the Congress citing in her letter to Sonia Gandhi that “people who have no connectivity with the ground reality or public recognition are dictating terms and people like me who wanted to work for the party sincerely are being pushed and suppressed.”
