New Delhi: Jammu & Kashmir Governor Sathyapal Malik issued an order,dissolving the Assembly on Wednesday. The action of the Governor is after Mehbooba Mufti and Sajjad Gani staked their claims to form the new Government.
Former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti and People’s Conference leader Sajjad Gani claimed support.The movement was to make PDP’s Althaf Bukhari the chief minister and thus to form Government. The state is being under Governor’s rule since last June.
