Kochi : Goondaism led by CPM leader at Piravam Government hospital. The cops realized that, the accused deserved special treatment and became silent spectators.
Congress’ Farmers Organizational leader D K Lalu was targeted by the CPM local leader and Municipal Councilor Ajesh Manohar, AIYF activist Sumesh Madhavan and Ananthu Gopinath. The CPM activists arrived at the government hospital and dragged Lalu out of the premises and beat him severely.
Natives did not interfere in this brutality neither they responded in fear of the people’s party. As per an anonymous call, the police arrived and pulled two of the the attackers to the police vehicle, by the time the CPM leader came in to the picture, police remain frozen and all the leftists took a leave from the scene.
UDF declared hartal on the grounds of the attack and the accusers surrendered by noon.
The criminals were bailed out immediately after after registering the arrest. The police explained that, the criminals have not done any non-bailable offence it is just that they created a brutal uprising in the Government hospital and beaten a man in the daylight.
Protest against the police’s act as puppets is fuming up.
