Lucknow : Statue of Ram will be built at Sarayu shore by the Yogi Government. The statue will be built out of bronze with a height of 221 meter. The base of the statue is planned with a height of 50 meter and the crown of the statue with a height of 20 meter.
Principal Secretary of UP, Avinash Avasti said that, the conference held at night chaired by Yogi, the other day led to the final decision on the statue. 5 sample models of the statue was presented before the Minister. The sample model of the statue has been published.
The base of the statue will be built as a museum. The history of Lord Ram and the real culture of Ayodhya will be the main elements in the museum.
Avinash also informed that, five companies have been chosen so far for the contract of the statue and the best of them will be finalized by the Government.
