By-election ; UDF sitting seats to BJP

Thiruvananthapuram : BJP has won the election held in the State. 5th ward of Thakazhi Panchayat and 17th ward of Kavalam Panchayat in the district of Alappuzha is where UDF lost its seats to BJP.

P K Vasudevan won in 5th ward of Thakazhi Panchayat. Vasudevan is the BJP district Vice President of Alappuzha. BJP candidate Ajitha won in the 17th ward of Kavalam Panchayat.
