New Delhi : Rajasthan and Telegana Assembly elections is held today. The election is held for 199 seats in Rajasthan and 119 seats in Telegana. Polling in Ramghat constituency has been postponed because of the sudden death of BJP candidate. 2294 Candidates are waiting for the election results. 4.74 crore voters will poll their votes among the 5179 polling booths arranged. Voting began by 8.00 this morning will end by 5.00 in the evening today.
1829 candidates are competing for the seats vacant in 119 constituencies of Telegana. Heavy security has been arranged in both states. Counting of votes will take place on 11th of January 2019, including Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh and Mizoram.
Telegana has reported 50% of voting, while Rajasthan, 41%. The report speaks about the figures till noon.
