Kollam eager to receive PM

Kollam: All arrangements in place to receive Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM will inaugurate Kollam bypass and will address around one lakh people at Cantonment Ground. BJP’s State election campaign will begin with this grand rally.

The Prime Minister will reach Thiruvananthapuram at 5.20 in the evening and will fly to Kollam in helicopter. The PM’s address to the rally will be after the inauguration of the Kollam bypass. BJP Kerala factor has full enthusiasm to mark the election rally as a historical event.

Parking grounds have been arranged for smooth passage and parking of vehicles. 500 Yuvamorcha volunteers will serve the rally and 100 Swachch Bharath workers have been arranged for cleaning purpose.

Prime Minister will return Thiruvananthapuram after the rally at Kollam and will make darshan at Sree Padmanabha Swami Temple. He will also inaugurate Swadeshi Darshan scheme, the central tourism ministry’s developmental initiative to improve the infrastructure of the temple and its premises. The improvements under the project include construction of the heritage walk corridor, restoration of the Padmatheertham, electrification, installation of bio-toilets and bathrooms, improvements in security, and software for the digital museum among other things.
