IndiGo’s Singapore flight diverted as crew member detects burning smell in it

Reports say that the IndiGo flight A320ceo travelling from Tiruchirappalli to Singapore was diverted to Kualanamu airport in Indonesia. The Singapore bound flight was diverted after a cabin crew member informed of a burning smell inside the flight.

The pilot following the standard procedures and necessary precautions landed the flight at the nearest airport available. The flight was inspected at Kualanamu airport with the initial ground inspection being satisfactory.

The passengers of the flight received accommodations and an alternate flight is being flown into Kualanamu for taking the passengers to Singapore.
