As today marks actor Mohanlal’s 63rd birthday, producer and former minister Shibu Baby John uploaded a photo from the sets of Malaikottai Vaaliban, which has gone popular on social media.
The picture was shared as part of a birthday wish post by the producer, which also had a caption that said, “A relationship that has progressed in many levels, starting with Mohanlal and reaching Vaaliban through Lalu. Happy birthday, Lalu”
The post, which went viral, featured the actor in a new avatar with a stylized man-bun hairstyle, a long beard, and a hand tattoo on his right shoulder. The viral post has served as a treat for fans all over the world.
Lijo Jose Pellissery directs Malaikottai Vaaliban, which follows his collaboration with Mammootty on Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakam. The Mohanlal film will be Lijo’s most expensive project to date. The film has completed its 77-day schedule in Rajasthan and is presently filming in Chennai. Marathi actress Sonalee Kulkarni is in the lead role, with actors Hareesh Peradi and Manikandan Achari playing alongside. Prashanth Pillai composed the soundtrack, while Madhu Neelakandan shot the film.
The makers of Malaikottai Vaaliban also shared a glimpse of the film, featuring Mohanlal.
Mohanlal is also set to feature in the Rajinikanth-starrer Tamil flick Jailer, along with Shiva Rajkumar and Jackie Shroff.
