Marvel Studios has released the new trailer for their mini-series “Secret Invasion,” which will be available for streaming in India on Disney+ Hotstar from June 21 onwards.
The series is set to follow the plot of a secret invasion that the shape-shifting aliens, the Skrulls, launch on Earth and how the former leader of S.H.I.E.L.D., Nick Fury, tackles the situation. The show also marks the return of actor Samuel L. Jackson in the role of Nick Fury after his last appearance in the 2019 film Spider-Man: Far From Home.
The series will also introduce GOT fame actress Emilia Clarke and actress Olivia Coleman to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Actors Don Cheadle and Martin Freeman will also return to reprise their previous roles in the universe.
The series will be the first mini-series to stream under Phase Five of the MCU. Earlier, the makers also shared a few character posters regarding the show.
