Kozhikode: In a distressing incident, two children have been reported missing at Kozhikode beach this morning. According to media reports, Adil (17), a resident of Olavanna, and his friend Adil Hassan were enjoying a game of football near the shore when tragedy struck. Adil was swept away by a powerful tide while attempting to retrieve the ball from the sea.
Initial assessments suggest the presence of dangerous undercurrents in the area, which may have contributed to the incident. In a brave but ill-fated rescue attempt, Adil’s friend was also engulfed by the strong tide while trying to save him. Upon receiving the information, the police promptly arrived at the scene, where a search operation for the missing children is currently underway
