Former minister and CPM leader MM Mani MLA’s car collided with a pedestrian, causing severe injuries to Ratish (38), a native of Kazhakoottam. The incident occurred near Kazhakoottam Mission Hospital at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Ratish was struck by the MLA’s official vehicle while crossing the road. After a significant delay, an ambulance arrived to transport the injured person lying on the road to Medical College Hospital.
Subsequently, Mani’s vehicle was promptly shifted to the Kazhakootam police station.
