in Kerala

In a strongly worded Facebook post, K Sudhakaran, the president of KPCC, responded to remarks made by MV Govindan, the state secretary of CPM, regarding the POCSO case involving antique dealer Monson Mavunkal.

Sudhakaran criticized Govindan, by saying that he is an “indecent party secretary of CPM” and called for him to conduct himself with more dignity in his role.

Furthermore, Sudhakaran made a reference to A Vijayaraghavan, the former party secretary, suggesting that he, too, had displayed a lack of dignity and adherence to high standards.

Sudhakaran emphasized that Govindan should, at the very least, exhibit the expected decorum associated with his position.

Sudhakaran’s Facebook post was titled “To the Indecent Party Secretary of CPM.”

Through the facebook post, Sudhakaran issued a cautionary message to Govindhan, advising against assessing everyone through the same partisan lens employed by their political party and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
