Kottayam : Chandy Oommen, the son of the late former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, has expressed his opinion regarding the recent controversial remarks made by actor Vinayakan against his father. In a composed response, Chandy Oommen stated that there is no need to file a case against the actor, as he believes his father would have taken Vinayakan’s comments as a personal opinion.
The incident unfolded when Vinayakan faced severe backlash from various quarters after he posted a video on social media, allegedly insulting the late former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, who passed away recently.
Despite the uproar on social media, Chandy Oommen exhibited a calm and composed demeanour in addressing the situation. He opined that his father, Oommen Chandy, would have reacted similarly and taken Vinayakan’s remarks in stride, considering them as the actor’s personal perspective.
