New Delhi: In a tragic incident, Harpreet Gill (36), the Delhi manager of the online delivery app Amazon, was fatally shot by unidentified attackers. The unfortunate event occurred in Bhajanpur, where Harpreet Gill lost his life. The incident transpired during the late hours of Tuesday night as he was riding a motorcycle through Subhash Vihar in the Bhajanpura locality.
Law enforcement officials revealed that a group of five men intercepted Harpreet while he was on his motorcycle with a friend. This group proceeded to open fire on Harpreet, tragically resulting in a fatal gunshot wound to his head. Tragically, Harpreet lost his life on the spot due to the severity of the injuries sustained. His companion, Govind Singh, also suffered a gunshot wound to his ear, leaving him in a critical condition. Govind Singh has been admitted to the LNJP Hospital for medical treatment.
The perpetrators of this heinous act remain at large, prompting the police to intensify their investigative efforts in pursuit of the culprits. Authorities are meticulously scrutinising the CCTV footage from the area in a bid to identify and track down the assailants.
