The Ram Temple is set to open its doors to devotees in January of the following year. During their meeting, the Prime Minister and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath discussed various aspects of the Ayodhya project, including plans for a temple museum. Media reports suggest that the concept of a temple museum was explored, which would not only showcase images of various temples but also offer features designed to attract devotees visiting Ayodhya. This museum aims to provide detailed information about temples across the country and a place for pilgrims and tourists to learn more about them. A detailed project report for the museum’s location and construction was also discussed and directed to be submitted.
According to the state government’s estimates, there are currently 263 projects underway in Ayodhya, with a total value of ₹30,923 crore. These projects include the upgrading of highways and railway stations, as well as the construction of the Maryada Purushottam Shriram International Airport.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath makes regular visits to Ayodhya, where the construction of the Ram Temple is in progress. In August of the previous year, he assessed the temple’s construction work during one of his visits. The Pratishtha Mahotsav at Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi sees participation from representatives of 160 countries around the world, and it is expected to draw more than five lakh people—a moment eagerly awaited by Ram devotees from across the globe.
