THRISSUR: Sreejith Moothedham’s literary work, ‘Penguinukalude Vankarayil,’ has been honored with the prestigious Prof. Kesavan Vellikulangara Children’s Literature Award. The award includes a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 and a certificate of recognition.
MK Renil’s literary creation, ‘Aarilum Munpan,’ has secured the 24th PT Bhaskarapanicker Children’s Literature Award.
S. Bhadra, a young writer, has been honored with the IR Krishnan Methala Memorial Endowment for Child Writers for her outstanding work titled ‘Kunju Megham.’ Remarkably, S. Bhadra is a fifth-grade student from Varadiyam, Thrissur District.
The presentation of these prestigious awards will take place during the Children’s Literature Committee Meeting scheduled for October 8 in Kodungallur.
