Ernakulam: Noted YouTuber Shakir Suban has taken a legal step in response to the molestation case filed against him. Shakir Suban, popularly known as the “Mallu traveller,” has submitted an anticipatory bail application at the Ernakulam district court, affirming his commitment to address the allegations through legal channels.
The Ernakulam Central Police had previously issued a lookout notice against Shakir Suban when he failed to appear for questioning. As a proactive measure to avoid any potential legal actions, an anticipatory bail application was filed by Shakir Suban through his legal representative. This legal manoeuvre is intended to prevent any possible arrest if he returns home for any reason.
Shakir Suban’s position on the matter is that the molestation complaint lodged against him is merely an allegation, and he contends that the complainant may have ulterior motives behind the accusation. The district court is expected to review and consider the anticipatory bail application in the coming days.
