Kochi: A case has been filed against Advocate Parvathi Krishna, who stands accused of deceiving a client by fabricating a fake High Court order related to land classification. The complaint, filed by Judson, a resident of Palarivattam, alleges charges of fraud and forgery against the lawyer.
The case revolves around the purported change in the classification of a 10-cent land in Palarivattam, for which Judson sought legal assistance. According to the complaint, Judson approached the High Court seeking a change in the land classification.
However, suspicions arose when Judson, armed with a copy of the alleged judgement, visited the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) office to initiate the necessary procedures. Then, it was discovered that the judgement presented was a fraudulent document.
The complainant, Judson, promptly reported the incident to the Fort Kochi Police, leading to the registration of a First Information Report (FIR) against Advocate Parvathi Krishna. The charges include fraud and forgery, marking a serious legal predicament for the accused lawyer.
