Thiruvananthapuram: A school bus driver named Sujan, a native of Ayiroopara, has been arrested for keeping ganja. He was employed as a temporary bus driver at the Government Upper Primary School in Pothencode. The police recovered bags of ganja intended for sale from him.
At the same time, in Pathanamthitta, the police arrested another school bus driver, Rajesh, a resident of Thumpamon, for driving the school bus after consuming alcohol. The parents doubted that the driver was drunk and complained to the police. Following a police check, it was confirmed that the driver was driving when he was drunk. The police took Rajesh into custody. Notably, there were 26 children in the bus during this incident.
