THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Malayalam popular artist Pearle Maaney today shared photos of her daughter Nila’s Vidyarambham ceremony on social media.
(Vidhyarambham is a sacred Hindu ritual also known as Akshara Arambham, which marks the auspicious beginning of education and honors Goddess Saraswathi Devi, the Goddess of knowledge).
In one of the heartwarming images, Nila is seen sitting on the lap of Pearle Maaney’s father, Paul Maaney, who is supporting Nila as she embarks on her journey to acquire knowledge.
The family followed the tradition of Vidyarambham by writing ‘Om Hari Sree Ganapathye Namaha’ in Malayalam.
