THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Malayalam actor Mohanlal extended his warm Vijayadashami wishes through a Facebook post. In his message, he wrote, “I wish all my beloved children good luck and success as they embark on their journey of learning today. Wishing everyone a happy Vijayadashami filled with love and prosperity.”
He also shared an image with the text ‘Om Hari Sree Ganapathye Namaha, Avinghna Namasthu: Om Shree Guruve Namaha’ written in the Malayalam language.

Vidhyarambham is a sacred Hindu ritual also known as Akshara Arambham, which marks the auspicious beginning of education and honors Goddess Saraswathi Devi, the Goddess of knowledge.
Traditionally, Vijayadashami is a day to honor Goddess Saraswathi Devi, and it’s a special day for parents and elders to initiate their children’s education by writing “Om Hari Sree Ganapathye Namaha :”
